Concierge guests have earlier access to request popular experiences, such as shore excursions, specialty dining, cabanas, and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique reservations. That can be especially helpful when there are a few things your family really hopes to include in the trip.

That means the lounge can be an easier breakfast or lunch option, somewhere to sit for a while between activities, or simply a quieter alternative when the rest of the ship feels busy.

One of the Concierge benefits that can be harder to appreciate until you are actually traveling is having a dedicated team available when you need assistance.
Concierge hosts can answer questions and help with reservations and changes during the sailing. For Erin’s family, that meant they could get help without waiting in line at Guest Services.
The personalized service can show up in small ways, too. When chicken tenders were not available in the lounge, the Concierge team offered to bring some for Erin’s son.
That may seem like a small detail, and it is. But those are often the details you notice on vacation. Having someone nearby who can answer a question, make a change, or help with a need can mean less time figuring things out yourself.
Little Extras That Change the Feel of the Cruise
Concierge does not replace the Disney Destiny experience. You are still going to the same shows, enjoying the restaurants, exploring the ship, and spending time together.

For example, Erin’s family had early entry and special seating for stage shows. They could choose breakfast or lunch in the quieter Concierge Lounge rather than heading to a busier buffet. And when they needed help, they had the Concierge team available instead of having to go elsewhere on the ship.
None of those things transform the vacation on its own. Together, though, they can create a cruise with fewer waits, more choices, additional quiet space, and another level of service.

It can also be a way to make a milestone trip feel more special. Erin chose Concierge for a milestone birthday celebration and felt that the experience lived up to what she had hoped it would add to the vacation.

– Use the Concierge Lounge as part of your day. It can be much more than a place to grab a snack. Erin’s family used it for meals, coffee, drinks, relaxing, and getting help from the Concierge team.
– Let the Concierge hosts help once you’re onboard. Questions, reservation changes, and other needs can often be handled through the Concierge team rather than spending vacation time figuring out where to go or waiting in line.
